July Meetup - Vibes are a metric, eBay design team takeover

We’re excited to host our July community meetup with Ray Mosley the design team at eBay.

Vibes are a metric
How one team made culture the product - and kept shipping it, even when everything else changed

What do you do when your product gets shelved, your mission changes, and your roadmap’s heavy discovery over delivery?

You build something else.
Something people care about showing up for.

Over the past 2.5 years, this team inside eBay has gone from a web3 art marketplace to a connected products unit navigating ambiguous futures, global platforms, and shifting priorities. The one constant? Culture - not the fluffy kind, but the kind you design with intent: weekly rituals, open reviews, pecha kuchas, team stickers, and shared collaboration that kept us grounded and growing.

In this session, we’ll tell the full story - what we built, how we adapted, and the ways we made team culture our most consistent product. You’ll leave with ideas to try, tips to steal, and maybe even a sticker.

Because if nothing else…
Vibes are a metric.
