I’ve spent two decades in design teams at different levels of maturity — from being a lone voice in a room to part of massive, structured teams at places like JD Sports, BBC and AND Digital. In this 15-minute talk, I’ll share the reality of how team size and industry shape the way we work. Whether you’re a graduate looking for your first role or a lead building a design team, we’ll explore why the myth of the “unicorn designer” is dead, and why our greatest growth in both culture and craft happens when we lean on each other.
